Komenda College Practice Basic School in the Komenda Circuit, Central Region, has held a wonderful graduation ceremony for the KG 2 pupils who will be moving on to Basic One next academic year.
The event was graced by parents, teachers, and other well-wishers who were treated to an array of performances by the pupils.

The ceremony, which took place at the forecourt of the school on 14th September 2023, featured poem recitals, cultural displays, drama, and other performances that educated and entertained all present.

The graduates were also presented with prizes and certificates to celebrate their achievements.

In addition to celebrating the pupils, the event also honoured 14 final-year student teachers from the Komenda College of Education who had been offering voluntary assistance to the school since the start of the third term.
Speaking at the event, the headteacher, Papa Kwamina Sam, praised the KG 2 pupils for their outstanding performance and expressed confidence that they would continue to excel in their academic journey.

He also invited the ‘public’ to enrol their children at the school for quality education.

Papa Kwamina also took the opportunity to urge parents to take good care of their wards during the vacation and ensure they are safe, ready, and sound to start the next academic year on 3rd October 2023.

Some parents who spoke with Coleman Publications expressed their satisfaction with the performances and displays they saw from the pupils, adding that it is sure proof that the school is developing the students in all-around aspects.
