Moses called together the whole community of the people of Israel and said to them, “This is what the Lord has commanded you to do: You have six days in which to do your work, but the seventh day is to be sacred, a solemn day of rest dedicated to me, the Lord. Anyone who does any work on that day is to be put to death. Do not even light a fire in your homes on the Sabbath.”. Exodus 35:1-3 GNT
Now there are majority who still hold unto a special day as the sabbath. This is very false when it comes to the new covenant and the new creation.
In the new covenant, everyday is a day of sabbath in which we can serve the lord because the real sabbath is Jesus. (Col. 2:17). Those who claim a special day as the Sabbath for the new creation in Christ and not Christ because they believe Christ didn't end the laws of Moses which the scriptures say He did( Romans 10:4).
You who is still cling to the sabbath day doctrine, listen to what you are not to do on that day;
The Bible says, Do not even light a fire in your homes on the Sabbath.”. Did you see that? But look at you, on that so-called day you claim as the sabbath, that is when you light a fire to cook and prepare your heavy meals.
That is when you switch on the lighting system in your room to sleep. That is where you are on your television set with the motive of relaxing. But have you forgotten someone is working at that television station to enable you to enjoy that so-called day as a sabbath you claim?
Now listen to the second part. The laws were given through Moses, not Jesus. So the question is, are you serving Jesus or Moses? Are you called by Jesus Christ or by Moses? Listen to what verse 1 said, it says;
and Moses called the people of Israel
Now are you called by Moses or by Jesus? Why are you following a shadow while the reality is in?

God bless u more bro for your messages. But I think with this on the Sabbath you are making a mistake somewhere sorry to say. Concerning what u said above, I think must read your bible again. Please look at Exodus 20: 8 critically. The word “THE” used in there shows that there’s a specific day, which is the Sabbath. All also all the Ten commandment came from God to the people through Moses. So you can’t say its wrong. Please the Sabbath isn’t any day because God said remember the Sabbath day. He didn’t say a Sabbath day. God help us all.
