STOP !! YOU CAN’T….. Lesson 3

Yesterday you saw that, the reason why some Christians are still struggling with their christian life is because they are trying to BUILD THEIR OWN HOUSES . They are trying to finish what Jesus has finished for them already .And Satan is also glad for people who struggles to finish what Jesus (their saviour )had already finish for them.Because His agenda is to keep you and I in dark and far from the truth. But thank be to our Lovely Father in Heaven that you and I are not victims .

Let please delve deeper small into the main verse today .

The question now is; What is the House that David was talking about?

David wasn’t talking about the mere house as you will understood. He was not talking about cement ,sand ,stone and cement block buildings . if it were to be those buildings like David had lied because men were building Mansions and beautiful Buildings in those days till today . So, what House and building is He talking about ..let tackle one of those buildings today ..

One of the building that David was talking about That UNLESS THE LORD was SIN.

Sin has become the Talk of the day in the lives of many believers .Many think by their own strength they can overcome it. They think they can stop it, so everyday they become sin conscious. Their mind is full of how to overcome sin. .They BUILD their own plans and schedules to overcome sin. BUT THE PATHETIC ASPECT IS, YHRY MORE THEY TRY, THE MORE THEY “SIN”. what is the opening verse saying ….EXCEPT THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE , THEY LABOUR IN VAIN..(KJV )..Except the lord you can’t!! ..stop it !!. There is a good news for you, .Jesus overcame it for you!! All you need is Jesus!!!

Jesus( the saviour) appear on the scene and said I have build the house for you ..so stop struggling for I ( JESUS)have struggled to build the house for you on the cross.

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar ,he said IT IS FINISHED and he bowed his head ,and gave up the ghost ..JOHN 19:30NIV

Did you heard that? ..it is finished! which means Jesus has overcome and has finished all that you need including sin .He has overcome it for you so all you need is to accept Him and begin to enjoy those free gifts.
No wonder the Bible said ..

… anyone born of God overcometh the world ..1 john 4:4..

Jesus came to fulfill that …unless the lord said by David ..Glory be to God ..You have overcome sin ,sin has no dominion over you again as long as you have Jesus ..Jesus has build the House ,just enjoy it …Stop living your life in fear and bondage of sin for sin have no dominion over you.

Let’s delve deeper tomorrow God willing.

Note :we are not sinners trying to be righteous but we are righteous resisting temptation to sin . (disobey the finishes work of Christ )
