Applications for enrollment into the Regular/Full-time, Sandwich, and Distance Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) for the 2024/2025 academic year are now open.
Application Voucher
To begin the application process, applicants need to obtain an Application Voucher.
The vouchers are available at various outlets which include:
- Online (UEW Website): https://uew.edu.gh/admissions
- Mobile Networks Short Code: *887*9# on all Networks
- Banks: GCB Bank, Agriculture Development Bank (ADB), Republic Bank, Zenith Bank, CBG, Prudential Bank, and ACCESS Bank

Cost of Application Vouchers
The cost of Application Vouchers differs depending on the programme:
- Undergraduate (Direct and Mature): GH¢255.00
- Diploma & Post Diploma/Bachelors Postgraduate: GH¢305.00 (MA/MEd/MFA/MSc/MBA/MPhil & PhD)
- International Applicants: USD 100.00 (Undergraduate & Postgraduate)
How to Apply
Once you have obtained the Application Voucher, complete the application form on the University’s website at https://uew.edu.gh/admissions/apply
You will need to use the Voucher PIN provided to access the application form.

Make sure you have the following documents or information ready before starting the application:
- Soft copies of your results/certificate
- Passport picture
- National identity card
- Active phone number and email address
Applicants for graduate programmes are required to submit a referee’s report by email to uewsgs@uew.edu.gh
Application Deadlines
The application deadlines for the different programmes are as follows:
- Direct: Friday, November 29, 2024
- Mature: Friday, November 1, 2024
- Sandwich: Friday, August 30, 2024
