The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially begun the process for this year’s Inter-Regional and inter/Intra-District repostings.
All GES staff seeking assurance are informed that the process remains unchanged, and they are required to adhere to the outlined procedure and submit the necessary documents.
According to GES, the issuance of Assurance letters will start on Monday, 20th May, 2024, and conclude on Wednesday, 19th June, 2024.

For those applying for Inter-Regional reposting, the processing of applications at the headquarters will begin on Monday, 1st July, 2024, in preparation for the new academic year starting in September 2024.
The Management of the GES has directed the Regional Directors to compile and submit lists of staff members who have been granted assurance in their respective regions to the GES headquarters.
According to the directive, completed reposting applications must reach the GES headquarters no later than Wednesday, 31st July, 2024.

“Any documents received after this deadline will not be considered”, GES stated.
“Please note that a staff seeking reposting can only be released after the Director-General has approved and issued out a reposting letter to the applicant”, GES concluded.
