GES Begins Recruitment Verification Process

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially commenced the verification process for newly recruited teachers across the country.

In a notification sent to all Regional Directors of Education on July 11, 2024, GES management directed regional offices to begin processing the documents of the new recruits.

The notification, referencing GES/DG/247336/24/345, outlines a new verification system. Appointees’ letters will feature a unique QR code that, when scanned, will provide regional offices with essential information about the recruit.

To further authenticate the appointment letters, each Regional Office has been provided with a dedicated verification link. This serves as the master list and should be used for all verification purposes.

The GES emphasized that under no circumstances should any Regional Director repost any of the newly recruited teachers.

According to them, any issues related to the recruitment process should be reported directly to the Director-General.
