To ensure a proper observance of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, which falls on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of the Interior has declared Monday, September 23rd, 2024 as an additional public holiday.
The decision was made via an Executive Instrument (E.I) under Section 2 of the Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Act (Act 601).
Government offices, schools, and most businesses will be closed on Monday, 23rd September, 2024 to observe this special Public Holiday.
The public is therefore advised to take note of this declaration and plan accordingly.
