The Management of Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), through its Institute for Teacher Professional Development and Lifelong Learning (ITPDLL), has issued a stern warning to Level 200 and 300 students at affiliated Colleges of Education to pay at least 70% of their outstanding fees or be barred from sitting for the upcoming 2024/2025 End of First Semester Examinations.

The directive, reiterated in a memorandum dated April 19, 2025, from the Ag. Director of ITPDLL, Prof. Dr. Benedict Osei-Owusu, to the Principals of the affiliated Colleges of Education:  Mampong Technical CoE, Ada CoE, Akatsi CoE, Bagabaga CoE, NJA CoE, Komenda CoE, Wiawso CoE, and St. John Bosco CoE, follows a previous communication issued on March 21, 2025.

The memorandum serves as a final reminder to students to fulfil the previously communicated requirement of paying 70% of their fees to be eligible for the examinations. Failure to comply will prevent them from participating in the assessments.

“I refer to the March 21, 2025, memorandum on the subject above and inform students to make full payment of the 70% of their fees, as communicated earlier,” Prof. Dr. Osei-Owusu stated.

“Defaulting Levels 200 and 300 students will not be allowed to write the 2024/2025 End of First Semester Examination.”

The university emphasised the importance of timely fee payments to ensure the smooth operation of academic activities.

Therefore, ITPDLL has urged College Principals to remind defaulting students about the directive and encourage them to settle their outstanding dues promptly.

“I hope the defaulting students will be reminded about this directive. Thank you,” he concluded.

Trainees at these colleges of education should note that they will not be permitted to participate in the end-of-semester examination if they do not fulfil this requirement.
