Master Prince Appiah-Kubi emerged as the Valedictorian of the 15th Congregation of Abetifi Presbyterian College of Education, affiliated to the University of Cape Coast.
With an extraordinary Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.94 out of 4.0, he topped the graduating class of 2024, earning the enviable title of Overall Best Student among 455 newly minted teacher trainees.
Hailing from Ejisu-Essienimpong in the Ashanti Region, Prince began his formal education at Konongo Methodist Basic School and continued through Agogo State Senior High School.
With a strong foundation, he pursued a Bachelor of Education in Junior High School Mathematics and ICT — a programme known for its rigour and relevance in today’s digital learning landscape.
During his time at Abetifi College, Prince’s intellectual excellence was matched by his leadership and social impact.
He served as the 2023/24 SRC President, advocating for student welfare and driving initiatives that bolstered engagement across academic and extracurricular activities.
His tenure is fondly remembered as one of innovation, unity, and student-focused reform.
His accolades extend beyond campus walls. In 2022, Prince clinched the National TTAG Weekly Journal Writing Challenge, underscoring his flair for creative expression and thought leadership in education discourse.
His love for reading and writing is more than hobby — it is the foundation of his approach to teaching, learning, and influencing others.
A proud member of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Prince draws inspiration from his spiritual beliefs and the legacy of his role model, the late Dr. Myles Munroe, the visionary founder of Bahamas Faith Ministries International (BFMI) and Myles Munroe International (MMI).
Munroe’s teachings on leadership, purpose, and service have profoundly shaped Prince’s personal ethos and career aspirations.
In his valedictory address, Prince emphasised the transformative power of education and the responsibility that comes with it. “Let us be torchbearers of change,” he said, “not only in our classrooms but in every community we serve.”
