The government released funds for the payment of both Nursing and Teacher Trainee’s Allowances last month
However, the Students Loan Trust Fund, (SLTF) which is the official government agency responsible for the disbursement of stipends to the trainees said, it is yet to make an official statement on the release or otherwise of funds towards the payment.
Many trainees believed that once the nursing trainees have been paid, teacher trainees should be expecting theirs by the close of this month.
And if so, then Teacher trainees may receive more than two months of arrears of their allowance by the end of this month
