The Leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana has officially released a statement announcing a new date for the payment of allowances to trainees.
According to the Association, Student Loan Trust Fund made them aware that the government has released the money to them.
The communique reads;
The leadership of ATTA-G engaged Student Loan Trust Fund in a conversation concerning the disbursement of students’ allowances.
SLTF made us aware that the government has released the money to them. As a result, the leadership of ATTA-G made SLTF aware of some pertinent reasons they need to disburse the allowances within the shortest possible time.
SLTF has also assured us that students should expect their allowances by the close of this month (September).
Acting upon this release, students should be in the mood of expectancy of their allowances any moment from now up to the close of the month.
Trainees are therefore urged to as a matter of
urgency, begin searching for their Cards as payment will be done in four days.
