As anticipation builds among students and parents across the country, the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) Secretariat is preparing to release the 2025 Senior High School (SHS), Senior High Technical School (SHTS), and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) placement results.
While the official release date is yet to be announced, it’s essential for candidates to familiarize themselves with the process to avoid last-minute confusion.
The CSSPS placement determines which public second-cycle institution a candidate will attend, based on their performance in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), programme choices, and available vacancies.
This year, thousands of BECE graduates are expected to be placed in various institutions nationwide.
How to Check Your 2025 Placement
Once the placement results are officially released, candidates can follow these steps to check their school assignment:
- Visit the CSSPS Login Page: Go to the official CSSPS Placement Checker portal – https://www.cssps.gov.gh/
- Enter Your Index Number: Input your 10-digit BECE index number followed by the last two digits of the examination year. For example, if your index number is 1000000000 and you sat for the exam in 2025, enter 100000000025.
- Enter Your Date of Birth: Provide the date of birth used during your BECE registration.
- Click “Sign In”: After entering the required details, click the Sign in button. A pop-up window will display your placement results, including the name of the school, program offered, and enrollment instructions.
Reminder
As of now, the results have not been released. However, understanding the procedure ahead of time ensures a smooth experience once the portal goes live.
Candidates are advised to keep their BECE details handy and monitor official announcements from the Ghana Education Service (GES) and CSSPS.
