The Forty-six (46) public colleges of education in the country released their admission forms for the 2022/2023 academic year somewhere in March for applicants with WASSCE/SSCE certificates and had six passes(A1-C6) to apply.
That is, those having three core and three elective subject passes. The core subjects include English and Core Mathematics and the other three electives relevant to the courses of study of the applicants
The form which is worth Two-hundred Ghana Cedis only(GH¢200.00) is expected to end today, 31st October 2022 at exactly 11:59 pm.
Individuals who have an interest in enrolling in a college of Education and have the requisite credentials can still apply before time elapses.
The form can be obtained at any branch of Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited(CBG) or by dialing the short code *924*8# from all networks.
NOTE: The closing date may only be extended based on critical circumstances, that is to cater for the release of the 2022 WASSCE results for the awaiting Students.
Starting Date for Admissions.
PRINCOF is yet to release a missive on when the first list of students admitted by the various colleges would be released.
However, information gathered by Coleman publications suggests admission will start around the third week of November.
Successful applicants would be given a maximum of two weeks to make payments of their admission fees, hence applicants are urged to make the necessary preparations ahead of time.
Applicants are also admonished to be careful as some unscrupulous individuals might surface on the internet or even call them demanding money to offer them admission. Do not fall for such.
