December 2, 2022, declared a Public Holiday

Friday, 2nd December 2022 has been declared a public holiday by the Ministry of the interior.

In a release signed by the Sector Minister, Ambrose Dery, the day is to be observed as a statutory public holiday to celebrate farmers.

This is done annually on the first Friday of December.

“The public is hereby reminded that Friday, 2nd December 2022 commemorates Farmers’ Day.

The day is a Statutory Public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.” The missive reads.
