The Visual Art Students of Komenda College of Education had the opportunity to present and display their crafts, artifacts, and other artworks at the Just Ended Women Icons 2023 Exhibition held at the forecourt of Elmina Castle from 21st to 23rd February 2023.
The Event sponsored by Ghana Export Authority seeks to empower females in the art industry and also serves as a platform to project the beautiful artwork produced by the females.
The College had the invitation to join the program to display some artworks produced by the female students of the college.
Together with the Unit Heads and other Tutors, the students graced the event throughout the three days with their artwork and other materials produced.

Learners explained the literature behind their artworks to tourists and other dignitaries that were in attendance.
The College, under the Current Leadership, has prioritized enterpreunship skills and the science of growing crops and rearing animals with the focus of preparing students who are ready for the job market, as well as learners who can start their businesses after their programmes at the college.
