Komenda College of Education Boasts of the Best Pork in Ghana

Komenda College of Education has made a name for itself in the agricultural industry, particularly in the production of pork.

The institution has been actively involved in the rearing of pigs and growing crops over the past four years, as part of its initiative to shore up its internally generated funds(IGF).

The Principal of Komenda College of Education, Very Reverend Kwesi Nkum Wilson (PhD), has boasted about the quality of pork produced by the college, labelling it the best in the country so far.

In a speech delivered at the Komenda College of Education Old Students Association(KOSA) Congress, held on Friday, March 10, 2023, as part of the college’s 75th-anniversary celebration, Dr. Wilson highlighted the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness that the college adheres to in its pork production.

According to Dr Wilson, the pork produced by Komenda College of Education is free from dirt and other unnecessary oils that can make the meat unhygienic.

This is thanks to the college’s strict adherence to quality standards in its pig-rearing and meat-processing operations.

It is no surprise, therefore, that the college was recently honoured as the best institution in agriculture during the last Farmers’ Day celebration held by the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipal.

Dr. Wilson went on to challenge individuals to come and have a taste of the college’s pork.

He assured them that the quality of the meat was second to none and that he was always ready to refund anyone who patronised it and found something wrong with it.

The institution’s commitment to quality and hygiene standards is evident in the high-quality meat it produces.

With its continued investment in pig rearing and crop growing, the college is well-positioned to maintain its status as the best producer of pork in Ghana for years to come.
