Fees for WASSCE 2023 Private Candidates Registration

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has commenced the registration for WAEC 2023 private candidates nationwide.

Registration Fees

The fees for the WASSCE 2023 private candidates are based on the number of subjects a candidate wants to register for.

Below are the fees for the number of subjects a candidate wants to register for;

1. 6 or more subjects- GH¢742.33
2. 5 subjects- GH¢708.42
3. 4 Subjects- GH¢ 672. 56
4. 3 subjects- GH¢632.25
5. 2 subjects- GH¢607.58
6. 1 subject- GH¢ 582. 94

Fees for Oral/Practical Project Work

Additionally, candidates who offer subjects with an oral, practical or project work component will pay additional fees as follows:

1. GH¢70.00 per subject for Practical Test/ICT
2. GH¢70.00 per subject for Project Work
3. GH¢60.00 per subject for Oral (English, Arabic, and French)

Amendment of Entries

After submission of entries, any amendments by candidates during the normal registration period will attract the following charges:

1. GH¢ 100.00 plus Practical/Project Work/Oral fee where applicable

2. GHC200.00 for change of Centre, the substitution of the subject, correction of Name, Date of Birth, Address, Signature, and Photograph.

Late Registration and Penalties

Candidates who register after the normal registration period will be also charged a late penalty fee.

Candidates and their sponsoring organizations are expected to pay the registration fees and/or late fees at any of the designated banks or online payment platforms by WAEC
