Kumasi Technical Institute Expels 500 Students for Violation of school rules

The Kumasi Technical Institute in the Ashanti Region has taken action against around 500 of its students due to a rampage that occurred on May 17th resulting in damages to the school’s properties.

This has led to the expulsion of these students for violation of school rules and misconduct.

While the management of the Institute has not disclosed further details about the entire situation, they have affirmed that the primary motive behind the action is to instill discipline in the school, which is their top priority.

The school authorities went further to send an official report of the incident to the Technical and Vocational Education Training Directorate, which is to provide further insight and consequent disciplinary measures.

The expelled students have been asked to pack their belongings out of the dormitories, and once recalled, will face the school’s disciplinary committee.

Parents and guardians of the affected students are bound to get acquainted with the latest progress of their ward’s expulsion by the school authorities.
