The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced the payment of allowances for May to all service personnel.
This comes as a relief to the service personnel who have been anxiously awaiting payment for their service to the nation.
In a statement issued, service personnel were urged to ensure that they have their e-zwich cards to enable them to access their allowances.
The statement also directed personnel to visit their designated banks or agents for easy withdrawal of their allowances.
The payment of the allowance has undoubtedly helped ease the financial burden of the personnel, especially those who are dependent on this income to support themselves financially.
