The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) Review and Confirmation Portal is now fully operational after recent technical challenges temporarily disrupted access.
In a statement signed by Daniel Fenyi, GES confirmed that the portal is live and accessible to all candidates and will remain open until September 8, 2025.
The Service has urged all parents, guardians, and candidates to log in using their BECE Index Number and Date of Birth to review and confirm their school selections before the deadline.
GES emphasized that while candidates can verify their choices, schools already selected cannot be changed.
The Education Service also assured the public that its technical team, supported by a dedicated 24-hour help desk, is on standby to address feedback and provide timely assistance.
GES expressed appreciation to the public for their patience and cooperation during the brief disruption and reiterated its commitment to a smooth, transparent placement process.
How to Check Your Details
As stated earlier, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has opened the CSSPS Review and Confirmation Portal to allow 2025 BECE candidates to verify their school selection details before final placement is released.
Candidates are required to carefully review their information to ensure accuracy, as school choices cannot be changed at this stage.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Visit the Official Portal
- Go to the CSSPS Review and Confirmation website: www.cssps.gov.gh
2. Enter Your BECE Details
- Input your BECE Index Number (example: 0501234567).
- Add the examination year (2025) to the index number. Example: 05012345672025.
3. Provide Your Date of Birth
- Enter your Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) exactly as it appears on your BECE registration.
4. Log In to Access Your Record
- Click Submit to access your details.
5. Review Your Information
- Carefully check the following details:
- Name
- Gender
- School Choices (1st to 5th)
- Programs Selected
- School Codes
6. Confirm Your Details
- Once satisfied, click on the Confirm button.
Important Notes
- Candidates can only review and confirm their details — changes to school selections are not permitted.
- GES has provided a 24-hour help desk and technical support team to resolve any issues during the process.
