NTC Announces Extension of September 2023 GTLE I Registration Deadline

In an effort to address the concerns raised by the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) regarding the registration deadline for the September 2023 GTLE I, the National Teaching Council (NTC) has responded by granting an extension.

This decision was communicated through an official letter signed by Dr. Christian Addai-Poku.

In their letter, the NTC expressed their acknowledgement of the request made by TTAG on July 21, 2023, seeking an extension of the registration deadline.

Taking into consideration the compelling reasons presented by the association, the NTC has decided to extend the September 2023 GTLE I registration deadline to August 7, 2023.

Initially, the NTC had announced that the registration deadline would be on July 31, 2023. However, the compelling reasons put forth by TTAG prompted the NTC to reassess the situation and act accordingly.

The NTC remains committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for all teacher trainees.

By granting this extension, the council hopes to accommodate the needs and concerns of the teacher trainees, allowing them to complete their registrations without undue time pressure.
