Teacher Trainees to Receive Disbursement of Two Months’ Allowance from SLTF

The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) held their hand-over ceremony at the Wesley College of Education in Kumasi on Friday, 31st March, 2023. The event was attended by numerous student leaders and well-wishers, making it a resounding success.

During the ceremony, the outgoing President of TTAG, Honorable Jonathan Dzunu, delivered a speech highlighting the progress made during his tenure and the plans for the future.

He also shared some important news with the attendees, announcing that teacher trainees in the 46 public colleges of education should expect disbursement of two months allowance from the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) between now and Monday, 3rd April, 2023.

This news was met with great enthusiasm by those in attendance, as the allowances would provide much-needed support to the trainees during their studies.

The TTAG has been working tirelessly to advocate for the rights of teacher trainees in Ghana, and this announcement was a testament to their hard work.

The ceremony was also an opportunity to celebrate the incoming leadership of TTAG, who were officially sworn in during the event. The new leaders were charged with continuing the important work of the association and upholding its values and principles.
