Members of the 2022 College of Education graduands are demanding the prompt refund of monies owed to them by the Principals of various colleges before graduation.
The graduands alleged that some of the Principals had chased them out of the exam hall due to outstanding debts, which resulted in many not achieving their desired grades.
The concerned graduands disclosed that they have been able to pay their fees in full, and it’s now the turn of the Principals to refund them what is due.
They are insisting that the graduation fees should be deducted from the grant given to the colleges, and the balance used to settle debts owed by trained individuals.
They also emphasized that any outstanding owed amounts should be refunded to them urgently before the graduation date, which has already been set by the schools.
In their statement, they commended Principals of some colleges of education who have fully refunded their trainees, while urging other college Principals to do the same promptly to avoid any further action from them.
The graduands are advocating for understanding from the college Principals in settling their owed dues on time.
