The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, announced at the 15th Congregation and Projects commissioning of Offinso College of Education on Saturday, 22nd July 2023, that payment has been made by the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) to trainees.
However, as per the information gathered, it has been revealed that only the trainees studying at Offinso College of Education have received the said payment, with the disbursement process for trainees in other colleges still pending.
Again, Information at hand reveals that the leadership of TTAG (Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana) visited the Managment of SLTF this week to inquire about the payment status.

They were informed that the allowance disbursement for trainees is expected to take place in the upcoming week. However, there is no definitive timeline provided.
