The Evangelical Presbyterian College of Education , Bimbilla has celebrated another major academic milestone with the graduation of 557 student teachers at its 8th Congregation Ceremony, held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
The event, themed “A Fresh Carpenter: Resetting the Nation Through Transformative Teaching,” brought together education stakeholders, families, alumni, and local leaders to honour the achievements of the graduating class and reaffirm the College’s commitment to producing transformative educators for Ghana’s basic education system.

In his address, the Principal, Prof. Conrad-Joseph Wuleka Kuuder, congratulated the graduates for their perseverance and dedication throughout their training.
He urged them to embrace the responsibility of shaping young minds with creativity, empathy, and integrity, noting that transformative teaching is key to rebuilding the nation’s educational foundation.
“As teachers, you are the fresh carpenters entrusted with shaping the nation’s future. The tools you wield — your knowledge, skills, and character — will define the quality of the generations you teach,” Prof. Kuuder said.
The congregation also served as an opportunity to reflect on the evolving demands of the teaching profession, emphasizing the importance of innovation, inclusivity, and professional ethics in preparing students for a fast-changing world.
