Final Year Student of Mount Mary College of Education Passes Away a Week Before Final Exams

Mount Mary College of Education is mourning the loss of one of its final-year students, Miss Linda Aprekua, who tragically lost her life just a week before their final examinations.

According to the information received by our news desk, Miss Linda Aprekua, a level 400 student majoring in Social Studies and History from Adjikpo Hall, unexpectedly passed away on October 27, 2023.

She had been rushed to Atua Government Hospital after complaining about heart palpitations, where she eventually succumbed to her condition.

The Students’ Representative Council of the College shared their heartfelt message, stating, “It is with heavy heart that we are informing you about the death of one of our Colleagues with the name Miss Linda Aprekua a level 400 social studies and history student from Adjikpo hall. This sudden event occurred on 27 October 2023 at the Atua government hospital after she was rushed there due to a complain of a heartbeat. We kindly ask everyone to say a word of prayer for the repose of her soul. May eternal rest be granted unto her, and may perpetual light shine upon her.”

Colleagues and friends have expressed their sadness and disbelief at Miss Aprekua’s sudden passing, and many have taken to social media to pay tribute to her.
