Gambaga College of Education opens ‘recruitment’ for three academic positions- APPLY HERE

Gambaga College of Education, a distinguished public college of education affiliated to the University for Development Studies, has officially opened applications for qualified candidates to fill three academic vacancies.

The College, known for its commitment to teacher education and professional development, is inviting applications for the positions of Assistant Lecturer or Lecturer in the following subject areas:

• Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer – Music
• Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer – Special Education
• Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer – Guidance and Counselling

 Required Qualifications

Prospective applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a good first degree and a Research Master’s or PhD in the relevant subject area (Music, Special Education, or Guidance and Counselling) from a recognised university.

• Be a staff member of the Ghana Education Service and receive a salary through the Controller and Accountant General’s Department.

• Have a minimum of two years of teaching experience.

• Demonstrate good character and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to:

• Teach and assess students through assignments and examinations.

• Supervise student projects and internships.

• Conduct research and publish scholarly work.

• Participate in departmental administration and extension services.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Principal or their representative.

• Certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts.

• Certificate evaluation report from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission.
