“Go ahead with your Private Studies”- Mr. Philip Ntaah to Teacher Trainees

Trainees in Colleges of Education have been left to their fates as CETAG embarks on an indefinite strike.

For the past three weeks, students in colleges of education have not been engaged in any academic work.

This has left numerous wondering and raising questions as to if they would be writing an end-of-semester examination or not, since the majority of their courses are yet to be covered.

Speaking to Coleman Publications on Friday, 25th November 2022 at the Paa Joe Sports complex during the 11th biennial COESA games held at KNUST, the Principal for Enchi College of Education and the chairman for the central and western zone, Mr. Philip Ntaah asserted he does not know when CETAG will call off their strike for academic work to commence.

However, he has urged trainees to study on their own as they will be writing an end-of-semester examination when the time is due.

” trainees should stick to their books. They should go ahead with their private studies.”- he expressed.

Mr. Ntaah also appealed to CETAG to reconsider their decision and get back to the classroom and support their students.
