Komenda College of Education Beats Colleges in the Central and Western Regions to Win Select and Groom Future Leaders Debate and Quiz Competition

Select and Groom Future Leaders organized a two-day Debate and Quiz Competition for Colleges of Education in the Central and Western Regions(CENTWEST ZONE) on Thursday, 10th November, and Friday 11th of November 2022 at OLA College of Education, Cape Coast

It was a highly formidable competition in five (5) sessions;

i. Debate scripts presentation
ii. Scrambled sentences
iii. Homographs
iv. General Quiz
v. Memory Test

All Seven(7) Colleges of Education in the Central and Western Regions participated. They are;

1. Holy Child College of Education
2. Wiawso College of Education
3. Foso College of Education
4. Bia Lamplighter College of Education
5. Enchi College of Education
6. OLA College of Education
7. Komenda College of Education

At the end of the contest, Komenda College of Education emerged as the winner, and OLA College of Education, and Bia Lamplighter College of Education, got the second and third positions respectively.

Colleges to the National Championship.

Komenda College of Education and OLA College of Education will be representing the CENTWEST Zone in the National Championship.

Peki College of Education and Akatsi College of Education will be representing the Volta Zone and Presbyterian College of Education and SDA College of Education representing the Eastern and Greater Accra Zone.

The National Championship is slated to take place on the 16th of December 2022.
