While some Colleges of Education have already instructed their new students to register for SSNIT numbers for their allowance processing, an official from the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has clarified that freshers should instead register for Ghana Card.

According to the official, the processing of allowance for new students will now require a Ghana Card Number instead of the SSNIT number.
