In response, and to help applicants plan ahead, we have sighted a proposed academic calendar for Colleges of Education that outlines key reporting dates for all levels.

Per the calendar, freshers (Level 100 students) are expected to report on Monday, November 10, 2025.

This will mark the commencement of their first semester academic activities alongside continuing students in Levels 200 and 300.

The first session of the semester is scheduled to last six weeks, ending with a Christmas break on December 20, 2025.

They will then return on January 12, 2026, for the second session of the first semester, which will run for eight weeks.

Examinations for Levels 100, 200, and 300 students for the first semester are scheduled for February 23 to March 6, 2026, followed by vacation on March 7, 2026.

The proposed calendar also indicates that Level 400 students will first report on November 2, 2025, for orientation towards Macro Teaching, before moving to their respective stations on November 8, 2025.

Macro Teaching will run until March 7, 2026. All students across Levels 100–400 are expected back on campus on April 20, 2026, for the second semester, which will run for 14 weeks and conclude with end-of-semester examinations from July 13 to July 24, 2026.

Students are then expected to vacate on July 25, 2026 to conclude the academic year.

In addition, it’s also projected that the admission notices for Colleges of Education are expected to be issued from September through October 2025.

Applicants are therefore urged to remain alert, prepare the necessary documents, and make arrangements for timely reporting once their admission letters are received.

However, freshers are to note that the actual reporting date and other important details will be clearly stated on their individual admission letters when admission is offered.

This development is for the thousands of eager applicants seeking clarity on the academic schedule to make informed decisions regarding accommodation, travel, and other preparations ahead of the new academic year.

Coleman Publications will continue to monitor developments and provide timely updates on all matters relating to the College of Education admissions and academic activities. Stay Connected, Stay Informed, Follow Coleman Publications HERE
