Third-year students in the various Colleges of Education across the country are expected to commence their second semester on October 8th, 2023.
The semester, which will last for only seven weeks, is in line with the College of Education’s 2022/2023 academic calendar.
According to the calendar, level 300 trainees will sit for their end-of-second-semester examination from November 20th to 24th.

It is important to note that the third-year students were initially scheduled to commence six weeks of micro-teaching in their respective schools of attachment from August 28th, 2023, which forms part of their second semester.
This brings the total duration of the second semester to thirteen weeks.

However, due to CETAG’s Strike, this first phase was called off and it is hoped the calendar will be adjusted to make way for these lost weeks for the third-year students.
As a result, third-year students are encouraged to take note of the schedule and prepare accordingly.
