The Students Loan Trust Fund has finally issued a missive to discredit the message making waves that they have canceled the student’s allowances.
The released reads;
“The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) takes note of a fake text message making the rounds on social media, claiming that teacher trainee allowances have been cancelled.
We would like to inform our stakeholders, particularly teacher trainees, that the information is a fabrication.
The SLTF continues to disburse the allowances on behalf of the Ministry of Education. We urge stakeholders to verify the authenticity of information purported to come from the SLTF on our website (www.sitf.org.gh) or our call centre (0302751020).”
