The National Secretariat of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has officially released updated information regarding the 2025 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination II (GTLE II), including revised dates, fees, and a new examination modality for Level 400 students and resitters.

According to TTAG, the announcement follows extensive consultations with the National Teaching Council (NTC) and the Ministry of Education (MoE), aimed at improving the credibility, efficiency, and relevance of the licensure process in line with evolving standards in teacher education.

TTAG has outlined the following schedule for the GTLE II:
- Level 400 Teacher Trainees (First-time Candidates): Monday, 13th to Wednesday, 15th October 2025
- Resitters: Monday, 27th to Tuesday, 28th October 2025 (tentative)
Fees Structure
Candidates are expected to pay the following:
- Examination Fee: GHC 450.00
- Indexing Fee: GHC 50.00
According to the association, the NTC is expected to release detailed guidelines in the coming days, covering registration procedures, examination structure, and candidate responsibilities.
To ensure smooth implementation of the new modality, TTAG noted the NTC will also host a series of virtual orientation sessions via Zoom.
These sessions will be coordinated through TTAG’s regional administrative sectors and are designed to provide clarity and direct engagement with candidates.
TTAG has urged all affected candidates to take note of the new arrangements and prepare adequately.
The Association emphasised its commitment to safeguarding the interests of teacher trainees and ensuring a smooth and transparent transition to the new examination format.

So please when will the results be released so that resitters will prepare themselves thoroughly for it.
