TTAG Clarifies Rumors About Increase in GTLE Pass Mark

The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has released a communique addressing concerns about a possible increase in the pass mark for the upcoming Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE).

The GTLE is scheduled to take place from September 13 to September 15, 2023.

According to the communique, there has been no official communication from the National Teaching Council (NTC) or any relevant authority regarding a change in the pass mark from 50% to 70%.

However, TTAG’s leadership is actively engaged in discussions and efforts to obtain official information or documents regarding any potential changes to the pass mark.

The association extended its best wishes and support to all Newly Trained Teachers who will be sitting for the examination.

They encouraged the teachers to stay focused, remain positive, and continue with their preparations diligently to pass the examination at all costs.

TTAG assured teachers that any official updates or changes related to the GTLE pass mark will be communicated promptly once they receive official confirmation from the relevant authorities.

The association also urged teachers to disregard any unofficial information or rumors that are circulating and rely on official announcements from the NTC and TTAG for accurate and reliable information about any possible increment in the pass mark.
