The Management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has expressed concern over a publication circulating on social media platforms about new rates for Halls of Residence at the University’s campus.
In a statement issued by the university, Management clarified that it has not determined any new rates for accommodation for Halls of Residence for the 2023/2024 Academic Year, hence, such publications are false.
The statement further advised students, stakeholders, and the general public to disregard these publications and treat them with utmost contempt.

The university management reassured students and stakeholders that if there is a need to increase the rates for residential accommodation on campus, the established procedures will be followed to make such decisions and communicate them to all stakeholders.
The university also warned those peddling such falsehoods to desist from spreading such misinformation or be ready to face the consequences.
