The Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has officially announced the application process for admission into public Colleges of Education for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Prospective students seeking to pursue a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree are advised to complete their applications within the stipulated timeframe.

The deadline for submission of applications for the 2025/2026 academic year is Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications well in advance to avoid last-minute inconveniences and ensure they secure placement in their preferred college.
Admission Requirements
Admission into the Colleges of Education is subject to academic qualifications as outlined below:
WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants
WASSCE candidates must obtain credit passes (A1-C6) in six subjects, comprising:
- Three core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies
- Three elective subjects relevant to their chosen program.
SSSCE candidates must obtain credit passes (A-D) in six subjects, following the same core and elective subject structure.
GCE Advanced Level Applicants
- Must have passes in at least three subjects (one of which should be Grade D or better).
- Must possess credit passes in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English, Mathematics, and a Science or Social Science subject.
Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Applicants
Must hold a Certificate II qualification in three relevant trade areas or a National Board for Professional and Technicians Examination (NABPTEX) qualification.
Special Admission for Persons with Disabilities
Applicants with disabilities are advised to apply to designated Colleges of Education with specialised facilities:

- N.J. Ahmadiyya College of Education (Wa)
- Wesley College of Education (Kumasi)
- Presbyterian College of Education (Akropong).
Hearing-impaired applicants may apply to:
- Presbyterian College of Education (Akropong).
Application Process
Prospective students must adhere to the following steps to successfully apply for admission:
Purchase of E-Voucher
The application voucher costs GH₵350.
Available at: Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) branches.
MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, and AirtelTigo Money platforms.
Completion of the Online Application
- Visit the official admission portal: admission.coeportal.edu.gh.
- Accurately fill out the application form.
- Upload required documents, including a passport-sized photograph and relevant academic certificates.
Submission of Application
- Print a copy of the completed application form.
- Submit via Express Mail Service (EMS) to the first-choice College of Education.
With the application deadline set for August 31, 2025, interested applicants are advised to review the requirements, complete their applications promptly, and ensure submission is done correctly.
