Easy Steps to Check Your WASSCE Results

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) of Ghana has finally released the 2023 WASSCE Provisional results.

To check your result, you will need a result checker card with a PIN and serial number, plus your index number.

The following procedures should be followed to check the results:

1. Log on to the official WAEC result-checking portal:  You can access the portal by visiting https://ghana.waecdirect.org/
2. Enter your index number: Input your unique index number, which was assigned to you during the examination.
3. Select the type of examination: Choose the appropriate examination type, which in this case is “WASSCE.”
4. Choose the examination year:  Select the year you wrote the examination, which is “2023” for this particular release.
5. Enter the serial number:  Input the serial number from the result checker voucher you obtained. This number can be found on the voucher.
6. Input the Personal Identification Number (PIN): Enter the 12-digit PIN provided on the result checker voucher. Make sure to enter it accurately.
7. Verify your index number and examination year:  This is a crucial step to ensure the correct information is being processed.
8. Click on the “Submit” button:  After confirming your details, click on the “Submit” button to initiate the result checking process.
9. Wait for the results display: The system may take a few minutes to process and retrieve your results. Please be patient during this time.

A pop-up window will eventually appear, displaying your WASSCE results once they have been successfully retrieved.

It is important to note that due to a high volume of result inquiries, the website may experience heavy traffic.

In such cases, it is advisable to retry accessing the portal after a short period.
