The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced a new date for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates (SC) in 2024.
The management of GES, in a letter dated March 12th, 2024, informed all Heads of Senior High Schools about the revised examination schedule.

The new date for the WASSCE is now set to take place from August 5th to September 27th, 2024.
The GES is urging the Regional Directors of Education to effectively communicate this information to all the Heads of Senior High Schools.

They are further advised to make necessary arrangements and preparations to ensure that the candidates are well-prepared for the examination on the revised date.
This new date replaces the previously communicated schedule and should be taken seriously by all schools involved in the WASSCE.

Students and teachers are encouraged to adjust their study plans and make the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and successful examination period.
