Komenda College of Education is a co-educational institution devoted to the technological and general training of competent Professional Teachers for Basic Schools that meet the educational need of the nation.
The College is well noted for providing excellent opportunities for equipping its students with ethical, problem solving and leadership skills.
Komenda College of Education started in 1947 out of the buildings (Barracks) left by the Fleet Air Arm of the British Navy after World War II is 75 years old next month- March 2023.
The diamond Jubilee-themed “Promoting Sustainable National Development: The Contribution of Komenda College of Education in 75 years” is a much-anticipated event by both the old and current students of the college, as well as the entire College Community.

Special Guest
The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo DanKwa Akufo-Addo is the Special Guest of Honor for the celebration.
Therefore, the Governing Council of the 75th Anniversary planning committee, the Management, Staff, Students, Old students and the entire Komenda College of Education Community invite the general public to grace their Diamond Jubilee.
