End of Internship:

The final-year students who commenced their internship in January completed it on Friday, 5th May 2023. However, some trainees(Schools) ended their internship in April and returned to campus to write their second-semester examination for the 2021/2022 academic year, all internships came to a close on the 5th of May, 2023. This signalled the beginning of the next phase of their academic journey.

First Phase of Second Semester:

After completing their internship, trainees are expected to return home and report back to campus on June 3, 2023, to commence the first phase of their second semester. This first phase is set to last for only five weeks and will end on July 8, 2023. During this period, trainees will engage in various academic activities, including lectures, completion of their research, and group projects deemed necessary.

Second Phase and Completion of B.Ed Programme:

Trainees are expected to report back to commence the second phase and completion of their four-year B.Ed programme on October 8, 2023. This phase is the final stretch of their academic journey and will include rigorous academic activities and assessments to ensure that they have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills required for teaching.

End of Second Semester Examination:

The end of second-semester examination for the 2022/2023 academic year is slated to take place from November 6, 2023. This examination is a critical aspect of the trainees’ academic journey, and they are expected to prepare adequately for it to achieve excellent results.

Completion of Programmes of Study:

Trainees will then vacate the college after the end of their examination and complete their programmes of study on November 11, 2023. This marks the end of their academic journey in the college.
