The University for Development Studies (UDS) has issued a warning to prospective applicants and the general public about fraudulent activities related to admissions, procurement, and recruitment.
The management revealed that they have received reports that some unscrupulous individuals are sharing contacts and mobile money numbers, purporting to be official UDS admissions contacts.
The statement, signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Abdul Hayi Moomen, urges prospective applicants to avoid such individuals.

“All application and admission fees must be paid through the official bank accounts of UDS at designated banks,” the statement emphasized.
“Additionally, Management has become aware of fraudulent job postings and contracts being offered in the university’s name”
“We are taking this matter seriously and cooperating with law enforcement to end these schemes,” Moomen said.
“Individuals encountering such fraudsters are advised to report it to the Ghana Police and UDS Management”

UDS specifically warns against dealing with an individual named Ms. Priscilla Ndenab regarding admissions, recruitment, or procurement.
The university stated it has not authorized any Ms. Ndenab to conduct any business on its behalf.
