All stakeholders involved in the registration process are urged to be aware of these fees and to ensure compliance.
In addition to this announcement, the WAEC has issued a cautionary notice to parents and the general public regarding certain establishments known as “banner schools.”
These schools lack the necessary facilities to function as regular educational institutions and are solely established for the purpose of registering candidates for examinations.

The warning comes as WAEC has observed the practice of these banner schools, which typically display phone numbers on banners and request candidates to meet them at various locations to register for the examination at highly exorbitant fees.
Parents and prospective candidates are advised to exercise caution and conduct proper research before engaging with any school for examination registration.
