Season 7 of the nationally celebrated Gifted-Crafted Kids (GCK) Show has officially launched in Cape Coast, igniting anticipation and excitement across communities, classrooms, and households.
Under the theme “Our Community, Our Pride,” this year’s edition is already drawing attention as one of the most impactful youth engagement programs in the country.
Parents, teachers, school heads, and education stakeholders are being called upon to enroll their wards without delay.
The GCK Show is far more than a talent competition—it is a holistic, child-centered development platform designed for children aged 6 to 13 years.
It provides a national stage for young people to discover, develop, and display their natural talents in areas such as music, dance, drama, storytelling, visual arts, and public speaking.
What makes the GCK experience unique is its deliberate focus on nurturing leadership, discipline, creativity, purpose, and confidence—skills that transcend performance and prepare children for life.

“This is not about fleeting fame—it’s about raising a generation of bold thinkers and expressive leaders,” explained one of the lead coordinators. “We believe Ghana’s brightest leaders are already with us—they just need the right environment to shine. That’s what GCK offers.”
Beyond the talent and performances, Season 7 of GCK brings a deep community focus. With every participating child, an entire school, family, and neighborhood are uplifted. The program offers schools national visibility and resource networking opportunities.
According to organizers, when a child thrives, the school becomes a beacon; and when a school excels, the community becomes a model.
Equally significant is the opportunity it presents to trainee teachers and educators. The show provides hands-on experience in child engagement, mentorship, and creative instruction—skills that complement academic training.
“For a trainee teacher, GCK is the classroom without walls,” noted an education officer. “You get to learn by doing, by mentoring, and by seeing your impact in real-time.”
