The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced Friday, 5th September 2025 as the closing date for its 2025 promotion application process.

The promotion exercise, which opened on Monday, 18th August 2025, is being conducted entirely online through the GES promotion portal: https://bit.ly/gespromotions2025 .
Applicants are strongly advised to complete their submissions well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical challenges or disqualification due to incomplete documentation.

The promotion opportunity is open to qualified officers seeking elevation to the ranks of:
- Deputy Director
- Assistant Director I
- Assistant Director II
- Principal Superintendent
Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for their desired rank, including years of service, professional conduct, and academic qualifications.
While submitting an application is the first step, candidates may also be required to undergo further assessments such as written examinations or performance reviews.

To ensure a successful application, candidates must upload the following documents:
- A recent passport-size photograph (clear and professional)
- Their last promotion or appointment letter
- Their highest academic certificate
