Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital to Conduct Free Surgeries

The Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital is set to conduct free surgeries in partnership with a team of surgeons from the United States.

The surgeries will include hernias, hysterectomy, prostate, lipomas, testicular/penis mass, and plastic surgery for burns and scars on the hands.

The first batch of surgeries will be conducted from September 1st to September 15th, 2023, while the second batch will take place from September 25th to October 1st, 2023.

Screening for these conditions will be done at Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital from August 4th to September 1st, 2023.

The hospital management is requesting that the public inform their constituents, staff members, and congregants about this upcoming event.

It’s important to note that the surgeries are free, except for labs, imaging (x-rays), scans, oxygen, and some medications. Patients must come along with a valid NHIS card.
