The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced intermittent downtime and limited accessibility across its online platforms, citing an unexpected surge in user traffic.
In a public notice issued by its Corporate Communications Directorate, the Fund confirmed that its Information Systems team is actively working to restore normal operations as soon as possible.
“This surge in system traffic has created temporary instability across our applications,” the statement noted. “We want to assure our stakeholders that our Information Systems team is working around the clock to restore full functionality.”
The affected online applications include platforms used by students and stakeholders for loan processing, enquiries, and account access.
In the notice, the Trust Fund acknowledged the inconvenience the downtime has caused, especially during a period of heightened online activity—likely linked to application deadlines and the new academic cycle.
They have assured the public that resolving the issue remains a top priority and that every effort is being made to ensure users regain full access as soon as possible.
While the technical team continues to address the disruption, the SLTF has encouraged patience and understanding from its users.
To support individuals who may encounter critical service interruptions during this period, the SLTF has provided alternative contact options for immediate assistance.
Users can reach the Customer Experience Team via:
- Email: info@sltf.gov.gh
- Phone: 0302751020 / 0264043072
The SLTF noted that it will provide further updates as the situation progresses.
