The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced the successful completion of academic fee reimbursements for 36,506 additional students enrolled in public tertiary institutions across the country, under the “No Fees Stress” policy.
This announcement marks a major stride in the government-led efforts to reduce financial barriers to higher education.
Initiated under the administration of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the No Fees Stress policy is designed to offer relief to eligible students by covering their academic fees through timely disbursements by the SLTF.
In a public notice issued by the SLTF’s Corporate Communications Directorate, SLTF emphasised that the latest round of reimbursements is part of a broader push to improve educational equity and support students through fair and transparent systems.
“This update signals our unwavering commitment to making tertiary education accessible and stress-free for thousands of Ghanaian students,” the statement read.
The SLTF reassured the public of its commitment to upholding service standards, noting that all qualified students would be treated with fairness, timeliness, and respect throughout the reimbursement process.
