The National Teaching Council (NTC) has officially announced the registration deadline for the upcoming Reformed Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) for final-year teacher trainees across the country’s accredited training institutions.

According to the NTC, all eligible Level 400 trainees have until 28th September 2025 to complete their registration process.
The examination itself is scheduled to take place from 13th to 15th October 2025 at the various training institutions nationwide.
In a public notice sighted by Coleman Publications, the Council urged final-year students to ensure that they have completed their indexing before proceeding with registration.
The NTC also clarified that this registration window is strictly for final-year students.
Teacher graduates who have already completed their studies but could not participate in the July GTLE have been advised not to attempt indexing or registration at this stage.
“A separate window will be opened for post-graduation candidates in due course,” the Council assured.
