The Council made the results available to candidates on Wednesday, 17 September 2025 at 12:00 noon.

Candidates who sat the examination can now check their results through the NTC results portal.

The NTC reiterated that the release is part of its continued effort to provide timely feedback to prospective teachers and to support transparency in the licensure process.

Candidates are advised to use only the official portal to access results and related documents.

How to access your result

To check and print results, candidates should follow these steps on the official GTLE portal:

  • Go to the NTC GTLE results page at the Council’s exams portal: exams.ntc.gov.gh
  • Enter your Serial Number and PIN from the voucher, and your NTC Indexing Number where required.
  • Click “Check Results” to view your performance. Successful candidates who pass all required papers will be able to download and print their provisional certificate and result slip from the portal.

Provisional certificates and failed papers

The NTC has made clear that candidates who fail even one paper will not be issued a provisional certificate; such candidates will not see a provisional certificate available for download.

However, candidates who fail one or more papers can still download and print their result slip as evidence of their performance and for record-keeping.

This measure is in line with the Council’s requirement that all required papers be passed before provisional licensure is granted.

System traffic and patience advised

Because thousands of candidates are checking results at the same time, the NTC warns that the portal may experience slow response times.

Candidates are therefore urged to be patient, avoid repeat submissions that may lock sessions, and attempt access during off-peak hours if they encounter delays.

Scams and result-change warnings

The Council has issued a stern warning: results cannot be changed by individuals or third parties.

Any person or group that claims they can alter GTLE results is engaging in fraud.

The NTC urges candidates not to send money or personal details to anyone promising to “change” or “upgrade” results — such transactions are scams and will not produce any change.

The Council has used its social media channels and public notices to alert the public to these fraud attempts.

Final resit opportunity

The NTC also reminded candidates who fail one or two papers not to lose hope.

A final resit (scheduled as part of the GTLE calendar) will be organized in October 2025 to give eligible candidates a last opportunity to make up failed papers and qualify for their provisional certificate.

Candidates are encouraged to prepare thoroughly for the resit and to monitor the NTC portal for registration and timetable updates.

The NTC congratulates all successful candidates and encourages those who must resit to use the available preparation time productively.
